OK, what did the millionaires start out with before they made their millions? Something all aspiring millionaires have - the desire to make their first million. (There are of course some exceptions that we will cover later - BUT they don't apply to the majority of people.)

As you already know from the previous page, aspiring to become a millionaire is perfectly fine as long as this is not accompanied with evil motivations.

You already possess the desire to create wealth for yourself and your family - and if you are a decent person, the wider community will also benefit from your good fortune. When you become rich, it would be a shame if you and those around you were not able to enjoy the riches. Some rich people hoard their riches like trophies - and die leaving it all to the tax authorities.

Your burning desire for riches is an excellent starting point. In fact, without a burning desire to make your first million, you are not likely to make it!

Now that we have established your mission, we need to work out how you can make your first million.

Unfortunately, there isn't any one standard answer to fit all circumstances - different people travel different roads to make their fortunes. But when they start out with a clear mission - to make a million - they eventually get there by one path or another.
